Who We Actually Are
We're a small group of former traders who spent years dealing with the emotional chaos that comes with active markets. The patterns we noticed in ourselves—panic selling, overconfidence after wins, freezing during volatility—turned into years of research and eventually this practice.
Most of us didn't start out in psychology. We came from trading floors, risk management desks, and financial analysis roles where emotional missteps cost real money. That experience shapes everything we teach.
Built From Real Trading Experience
What started as informal conversations among colleagues about trading psychology turned into something more structured around 2023. We kept noticing the same emotional patterns showing up regardless of experience level or market knowledge.
The founder, Darija Veselic, spent eight years as a derivatives trader before transitioning into behavioral research. She watched skilled analysts make terrible decisions under pressure and saw beginners sometimes outperform simply because they managed their reactions better.
Our current team includes people with backgrounds in market psychology, behavioral economics, and actual trading experience. We test our methods ourselves before teaching them.
How We Work With Traders
Our process focuses on identifying specific emotional patterns in your trading behavior and developing practical responses that work during actual market conditions.
Pattern Recognition
We analyze your trading journal and identify recurring emotional triggers. Most traders have three or four main patterns that cause problems repeatedly.
Response Development
Creating specific protocols for your identified patterns. These aren't generic tips but personalized responses based on how you actually react under pressure.
Live Testing
You implement the protocols during real trading sessions while maintaining detailed records. We adjust based on what actually happens, not theory.
We've Been Where You Are
Everyone on our team has personal experience with emotional trading mistakes. We're not academics theorizing about market psychology—we've lived through the revenge trading, the overconfidence spirals, and the analysis paralysis.
- Direct trading experience across equity, options, and futures markets spanning multiple market cycles
- Research backgrounds in behavioral finance and decision-making under uncertainty
- Development of practical protocols tested in actual trading environments before teaching them
- Ongoing participation in markets to stay current with how modern trading technology affects emotional responses
- Regular consultation with active traders to refine methods based on current market conditions
Our programs starting in July 2026 reflect updated research on how algorithm-driven market movements create new emotional challenges for discretionary traders.
What We Believe About Trading Psychology
After working with hundreds of traders, certain principles keep proving themselves. These guide how we structure our training and what we focus on during sessions.
Emotions Aren't The Enemy
The goal isn't becoming emotionless. It's recognizing your patterns and having prepared responses. Some of our best traders are highly emotional people who learned to channel that energy productively.
Personal Protocols Over Generic Rules
What works for one trader often fails for another. We help you develop personalized responses based on your specific triggers and tendencies rather than teaching one-size-fits-all techniques.
Real Trading Conditions
Classroom exercises have limited value. Our methods get tested during actual trading with real money at risk, then adjusted based on results.
Continuous Adaptation
Markets change and your emotional responses evolve. The protocols that work during low volatility may need adjustment during turbulent periods. We build flexibility into everything.
